“Staying Ahead, Carolina” (SAC) is a newcomers group, founded in 2005 by Sabrina Brown. As a Realtor, she wanted to help her clients become acclimated to the area and active members within the community. However, given the rapid growth and changes in the Charlotte market, long-time residents too have expressed an interest in the group’s programs. “Given our metro is growing by leaps and bounds, Staying Ahead, Carolina represents a focus on emerging trends affecting the Carolinas and the Charlotte metro in particular. Residents come together to socialize and exchange information about the area. So whether we’re talking about Charlotte’s real estate growth, home improvement tips, or the richness of its arts and entertainment sector, every gathering provides an opportunity for residents to not only gain useful information, but meet new friends in a casual social setting and enjoy fine cuisine.
